lifestyle

One of the latest topic which we were talked about is home. What does your home mean to you? For me there's no place like it, a place where I can be 100 percent me. It's not only where I keep my things. It's a place where I can feel safe and spend time with my family. Such a place I find in Inowrocław, my hometown. But for 3 years I've lived in Poznań. During this time I've changed flats only one and now I live in a block of flats. It's quite old high-rise who has two lifts. I used them all the time because I live on the top, tenth floor and I'm not a huge fan of climbing the stairs. Anyway, this building is in the city center and has a lot of local shops nearby. Moreover, it takes me only 10 minutes to go to Plaza - the shopping center where I can spend my free time in many differents ways: shopping, going to the cinema or bowling with my friends. When it comes to my flat I rent it with my two friends. Each of us has a single room and for me it's one of the advantage cause we have our own place and we don't have to share it with someone else. What is more, my room is quite big and bright which is also very important to me. The other thing which I like in this flat is a balcony with a great, city view.
In terms of disadvantages of this place is a lack of green spaces because it's a typical residential area. I have to go about 10 minutes to the park.
To sum up, despite the fact that it's not the flat of my dream, I am satisfied with this place. For me, it's the substitute of my family home where I can feel safe and comfortable.

Review

"Once upon a time there were two little girl who lived in a house" – this is a preview of film which I saw recently – "Dream house". I read a lot of positive reviews about this film, so I decided to go to the cinema. The other thing that made me want to see this film is a great cast who is starring in it - Daniel Craig ( who became well known  for the role of secret agent 007 ), Oscar winner Rachel Weisz and Naomi Watts. "Dream house" is  a thriller film directed by Jim Sheridan. It’s about a marriage with two children. After they moved into a new place, the strange things started to happen. Finally, they find out that their new perfect home was  the scene of the murders of a mother and her daughters. The main character tries to solve the mystery and save his family. And then, he discovers a lot of terryfing facts. But I won’t give you the detalis because there would be no point to see this movie. The only thing that I can say is that the ending will surprise everybody. It’s so unbelievable!  I can ensure you that there are a lot of breathtaking moments so you won’t be bored.  There have been a few films with a similar theme  like  "Secret window " or "Hide and seek " but if you like the film that pack a punch I strongly recommend it to you.

let's get it started.

Hi!

A liitle bit late, but here I am :) So, I had to create this blog in connection with my English classes. I won't describe myself ( but if you want to get to know me better, check my fun page on Facebook, created by Wojtek <3 ). However, I will focus on the topics which will be touched on my classes.
One of the latest topic  is FRIENDS. Do you have a best friend? And if so, what makes a real friend? For my point of view, such relationship must be very strong and unique. Friendship comprises of many things - trust, understanding, honesty, loyalty, support and uncoditional love. All of these characteristics I can find in Julia. You know her ( do you? - I had to add this cause we had a lot of fun with echo questions recently :). Anyway, I can tell without hesitation that she's my real friend. In spite of the fact that I met her only one year ago, I feel I have known her forever. No matter what happens to me, or whichever choices I make in life, I know that I can count on her. When it comes to our appearance, we are complete opposites, but basically we are the same. We're really on the same wavelength and I hope that our friendship will last forever.

Julia and me.

And a song of one of my favourite series - FRIENDS :)
