One of the latest topic which we were talked about is home. What does your home mean to you? For me there's no place like it, a place where I can be 100 percent me. It's not only where I keep my things. It's a place where I can feel safe and spend time with my family. Such a place I find in Inowrocław, my hometown. But for 3 years I've lived in Poznań. During this time I've changed flats only one and now I live in a block of flats. It's quite old high-rise who has two lifts. I used them all the time because I live on the top, tenth floor and I'm not a huge fan of climbing the stairs. Anyway, this building is in the city center and has a lot of local shops nearby. Moreover, it takes me only 10 minutes to go to Plaza - the shopping center where I can spend my free time in many differents ways: shopping, going to the cinema or bowling with my friends. When it comes to my flat I rent it with my two friends. Each of us has a single room and for me it's one of the advantage cause we have our own place and we don't have to share it with someone else. What is more, my room is quite big and bright which is also very important to me. The other thing which I like in this flat is a balcony with a great, city view.
In terms of disadvantages of this place is a lack of green spaces because it's a typical residential area. I have to go about 10 minutes to the park.
To sum up, despite the fact that it's not the flat of my dream, I am satisfied with this place. For me, it's the substitute of my family home where I can feel safe and comfortable.
Climbing to the 10th floor would be tough! But you do get some practice in Collegium Novum, don't you? ;)
